LiDEA was born out of a gap — a silence.
For years, the world celebrated African music, film, cuisine, and fashion. But the design world, one of our most powerful cultural engines, remained fragmented and under-documented. Brilliant African studios were producing world-class work, yet their stories rarely reached the platforms that shape global perception.
But these stories lived in isolation.
LiDEa exists to bring them together — to create the first unified platform for African design and creativity. We are building LiDEA as an avenue to give visibility to excellence, to archive cultural intelligence, and to ensure that African design has a home, a voice, and a global audience.
This platform is our answer to a simple truth:
Africa’s creativity deserves documentation, celebration, and legacy.
